Tourist information points

Bogotá has several Tourist Information Points where visitors can obtain maps, brochures and travel tips. These points are located in strategic places such as El Dorado Airport, La Candelaria and other tourist attractions of the city.

The Tourist Information Points have the function to guide and accompany the visitor during his stay in Bogotá, offering plans of the city and indicating how to mobilize.

The capital currently has 8 (8) Tourist Information Points. The following are three of them:

1. Monserrate Tourist Information Point

Location: At the base of the Cerro de Monserrate, near the church of the Sanctuary.

Services: Information on how to get to Monserrate, funicular and cable times, and guidance on the main attractions of the destination.

Hours of attention:
Monday to Saturday: 8: 00 a.m. - 1: 00 p.m. and 2: 00 p.m. - 4: 00 p.m.
Sundays and holidays: 8: 00 a.m. - 2: 00 p.m.

2. Information point for the tourist at the José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden

Location: In the vicinity of the Tropical Botanical Garden.

Services: Information on botanical collections, exhibitions, events, services available within the park and educational activities.

Hours of attention:
Tuesday to Friday: 8: 00 a.m. - 1: 00 p.m. and 2: 00 p.m. - 4: 00 p.m.
Saturdays and Sundays: 9: 00 a.m. - 2: 00 p.m.

3. Point of Information to the Tourist of the Transport Terminal of City Salitre

Location: Inside the Bogotá Transport Terminal, on La Esperanza Avenue with Carrera 68.

Services: Information on national and international destinations, bus schedules and additional services such as luggage, restaurants and exchange houses.

Hours of attention:
Monday to Sunday: 8: 00 a.m. - 3: 00 p.m. and 1: 00 p.m. - 8: 00 p.m.

4. International Centre Tourist Information Point

Location: At the International Centre of Bogotá.

Services: Information about hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, cultural activities and entertainment options. It also provides maps and assistance with public transport or taxis.

Hours of attention:
Monday to Friday: 8: 00 a.m. - 1: 00 p.m. and 2: 00 p.m. - 4: 00 p.m.
He doesn't open the holidays.

5. Tourist Information Point of El Dorado International Airport

Location: Passenger terminal, international arrivals, on departure from Migration.

Services: Information about hotels, restaurants, shopping centers, cultural activities and entertainment options. It also provides maps, tourist brochures and assistance for public transport, taxis and car rental.

Monday to Sunday: 8: 00 a.m. - 4: 00 p.m. and 1: 00 p.m. - 8: 00 p.m.
